Travelling Exhibit

The exhibit “The Francophone Imprint: An Epic of the French Fact in Alberta” tells the story of Alberta’s Francophonie. The exhibition includes 15 double, bilingual, retractable panels, in 15 cases for the panels 39cm x 92cm x 210cm (Width X length X height) weighing 25 pounds each, in 5 large hockey bags on rollers holding 3 cases each, plus a box with the two teaching guides, the assembly and disassembly guide and a set of quiz cards.

The host organization will pay a rental fee of $100. This fee may be waived in exchange for visibility and publicity for the SHFA. The rental fee does not include transportation of the exhibit from the SHFA offices to the host organization, and return of the exhibit to the SHFA offices. The host organisation will be responsible for organising the transport of the exhibition. The host institution must ensure that it has a vehicle and someone with the physical strength to transport 5 large hockey bags on wheels weighing more than 75 pounds each.

The exhibition must be placed in a public but quiet area that allows orderly viewing of the panels. The dimensions of the room must be at least 5m (wide) X 15m (long) X 2m (high). The host institution must ensure the safety of the exhibition and its contents during the presentation.
